Sheen Watkins' ultimate goal is providing her clients with art and decor, content and photography services. She works with photographers in helping them further enhance their skills to achieve their own unique vision. This includes group workshops where she partners with other photography instructors. Sheen also holds small group and individual, private workshops.
In addition to photography, she offers freelance writing and imagery in the areas of travel, photography and opinion pieces.
Nature, color and light ignites living spaces. These elements trigger emotions as a creator and for the viewer.
This journey started with the songs and fluttering of birds. Today, it's sharing the light, the calming and energizing moments before and after the sun passes the horizon.
Sheen's photography work emerges between what she sees and the heart feels. Hazy rays of the morning's sun warming the earth. Cotton candy pastels floating by when the brief, evening's magic hour stops time. The lowering heart rate from sounds and moments in wildlife. Or, embracing our night skies' enchanting magic.
She chases light. Sometimes light finds her. Creativity starts as an idea, translated by the energy of the moment, conversation and possibilities.
Life as a creative continues to evolve across many paths - photography, digital art, writing, blogging, video. Time and light doesn't stay the same - neither do we.
